Week 10 Player of the Week was Matt Zimmerman of Big Ticket. Another new guy with a spectacular game two goals (2) and two assists as his team beat up on St. Louis 7-2 in the 9pm match up.

That win puts Big Ticket into a four way share of the top spot with Zubco Vetster and Camp Manitou all with 12 points. The balance of the season is going to be very interesting to watch.

Toronto – December 10, 2023

Week 9 Player of the Week is Ryan Plener of Big Ticket. Ryan had an explosive game with a hat trick (3) as his team beat Camp Manitou 7-3 in the 8pm match up. Ryan was well motivated in this game playing against his brother and Camp Manitou being a Walden alumni. Ryan and Big Ticket won out but Zach Plener did managed to get two (2) of his own for Manitou but not enough on this night.

Hats off to Ryan’s teammate and Week 2 POW Corey Stein for another impressive night with three (3) of his own and a helper giving him four (4) point taking over top spot in the leauge scoring race.

Pleaee note next week December 17, 2023 is the last week before the holiday break. We are off for 2 weeks December 24 and 31 and play will resume on January 7, 2024.

Congratulations Ryan you have won a $25 Gift Card of your choice email  burke@fhhockey.com to confirm the details.

Sorry for the delay in posting this there was a technical problem with the website. I will post Week 9 POW later in the week.

Toronto – December 3, 2023

Week 8 Player of the Week is Sean Eylott the young goaltender for Vetster. He had a stellar shutout performance against Jiffy 3-0 in the 7pm game. Sean has been solid all season with the lowest Goals Against Average amongst Goalies this season while his team has one of the lowest Goals For Average talk about carrying a team on his back.

Meanwhile Zubco’s quest for an undefeated season is over loosing their first game in overtime to Camp Manitou 2-1. Later in the year the two top teams will play a rubber match to determine who wins their season matchup and potentially the tiebreaker going into the playoffs.

Congratulations Sean you have won a $25 Gift Card of your choice email  burke@fhhockey.com to confirm the details.

Week 7 Player of the Week is Greenberg Jr. the rookie on St. Louis. Jake was agressive all game and helped his team to secure their first victory of the season 7-2 over a very good Camp Manitou team.

Junior started the scoring off in the game with his first of 2 in the period and guess who grabbed the assist none other then his father Greenberg Sr. The crowd went crazy and his teammates were definitely motivated.

This duo has made history as the first ever father and son to play together in FHSHA history.

Jake potted yet another late goal in the first period and finally St. Louis started scoring some goals with Andy Bassin (2), Matt Black, David Shubs and Sam Risen all contributing. Copeland had yet another solid game and finally got the support he needed on the scoreboard.

In other news from the leauge Zubco continued to win and remains undefeated after one round through the league. Next week they are matched up against 2nd place Camp Manitou for the first time since their season opening matchup.

Congratulations Greenberg Jr. you have won a $25 Gift Card of your choice email  burke@fhhockey.com to confirm the details.
