Sunday’s Player of the Week is Michael Orfus, assisting on all 3 Collier goals vs. LSB.

Mr. Orfus has established himself as a top puck moving defenceman making an offensive impact each and every game. Colliers had their doubts about his commitment level coming into the season after Michael landed himself on the Canadian Whirlyball Team.

Despite his intense focus and dedication to his beloved sport of Whirlyball, Captain Orfus has made an impact in each of Colliers games this season pushing them to second place in the league standings.

Congratulations Michael on your impressive Sunday night performance. On behalf of the Forest Hill Senior Hockey League community, we wish you the best of luck at this years national championships! GO CANADA

Sunday nights Player of the Week is Sammy “9 Lives” Levy, scoring a goal and 3 assists in a 5-3 victory over Colliers.

This award could not have come at a better time, as Sammy’s house was recently raided by the Toronto Cat Rescue, seizing all 120 of his cats. Please support Sammy in his fight to keep his family together. We will have a petition brought to each dressing room this Sunday night.

Congratulations Sammy on an incredible season, scoring 30 points to sit 7th in league scoring. If you can translate your effort on ice to the courtroom, your furry friends will be home in no time!

This weeks Player of the Week is Matthew Boyle of Harvey Kalles, scoring 4 goals in a decisive win against Colliers. With Sunday nights victory, Harvey Kalles now sits 5 points ahead of 2nd place Colliers atop the league standings.

Despite missing their championship season in 2017, Boyle’s eagerly anticipated return to the ice has not gone unnoticed, as he has quickly become the poster boy of Harvey Kalles Real Estate with his 15 goals and 13 assists in 20 games this season.

Similar to Eli Cranley, Boyle has switched to a plant based diet, solely consisting of A&W’s Beyond Meat Breakfast Sandwiches and Burgers. Many compare Matthews treatment of his body to that of a fine car, carefully tuned to achieve maximum performance. With over a point a game this season, it is just a matter of time before the Larry Grossman Arena converts the snack bar into an A&W, Beyond Meat Sanctuary.

Congratulations Matthew on being a difference maker on your team and in your community. You get your choice of any prize listed on the FHSHA website News and Announcements.
