Alex The Great has risen to second in the league points race, after another 3 points night. His success can largely be tied to Scott Turyk’s chemistry building meetings at the Turkish bath house. It’s incredible how focused one can become, once all their material possessions are stripped away (literally). The winner of the Player of the Week award is Noah Buchman of Colliers, with an impressive 2 goals and 1 assist on Sunday night.
Buchdaddy brought his A game on Sunday, capitalizing on feeds from Blue Helmet (Mr. Gorenstein) on both his game changing goals., Honourable mention to Blue Helmet for his 5 apples Sunday, contributing to all 5 Collier goals.
Colliers continues to contend for top spot in the league standings, with expectations set to return for a 4th consecutive Championship Game.

KEVIN ROBSON - PLAYER OF THE WEEK
This weeks Player of the Week is Kevin Robson of Canada Stays, collecting 4 assists Sunday night, leading his team to a 6-3 victory over St. Louis Wings!
The 2018 1st overall pick has come to life this season, shifting his priorities from his farm to table hop farm in Fenelon Falls Ontario to 6am hill sprints at Christie Pitts. Kevin “Hip HOP” Robson has been key to Canada Stays FUEGO start to their 2019 campaign, trying to erase their past few seasons at the bottom of the league standings.

CHASE ISON - PLAYER OF THE WEEK
This weeks Player of the Week is Chase Ison of Perella Flooring, scoring 2 big time goals on Sunday night. Chase’s 3rd period tallies helped Perella erase a 4-1 deficit to Zubco in the final minutes.

JON WEBBER - PLAYER OF THE WEEK
This weeks Player of the Week is Jon Webber of Canada Stays, scoring 2 goals on Sunday including the OT winner with 5 seconds remaining. Jon’s jaw dropping performance propelled his team past Colliers and into top spot in the league standings.
It was truly an epic site, Sunday night at the Larry Grossman Arena. The lights went dim. Black Helmet (Formally red helmet) springs Jon Webber on a breakaway with time about to expire. Webber transforms into his namesake Shea Weber and winds up his clapper from the point – The entire crowd of 3 goes silent – DING! Post and IN. As the clock runs out, Players explode over the boards, while the fans lose control of their bodily fluids. WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!
Canada Stays has shown up to play this season after acquiring Jonathan Burke at the deadline, becoming a real threat early into the 2019/2020 season.
