JAKE SANDLER - PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Toronto – November 19, 2023
Week 6 Player of the Week is Jake Sandler goaltender of the league leaders Zubco. Jake had a great game in a 4-1 win over Vetster shutting down Cordes, Kronick and company until the third period when he allowed his only goal of the night.
As if that wasn’t enough our Player of the Week Jake also filled in for Rinxs in the late game against St. Louis. Jake held Rinxs in the game after going down 2-1 in the 2nd and Rinxs was able to tie it up and win it 3-2. Shout out to a great performance by Jonathan Gorenstien with a hat trick for Rinxs. But not enough to beat out Jake Sandler’s performance(s) with 2 wins in one week.

SCOTT TURYK - PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Toronto – November 12, 2023
Week 5 Player of the Week is Scott Turyk. By now everyone knows Scott #27 on Camp Manitou. Scott led the way with 7 points, 3 goals and 4 assists in Manitou’s 12-3 trouncing of Rinxs. Shout out to teammate Alex Eisenberg with a hat trick of his own good but not good enough to take the prize this week.
After 5 weeks this is a huge breakout game for Scott #27 and Manitou as they continue to build momentum in their quest for a Three-peat. But not if Zubco has anything to say about it they continue to win beating up on Jiffy this weekend. Now we are all just waiting for Sam Risen and St. Louis to get hot. I have seen Sam Risen putting in the extra time at the gym playing Pickelball so it’s just a matter of time.

Player of the Week: Steve Ungerman
Player of the Week is Steve Ungerman of Zubco! Former Player of the Week Sam Levy and Steve both put up 2G2A in an exciting 5-4 win over Big Ticket Productions.
Steve is a mainstay throughout the league and on the ice, he’s known for his tough but fair attitude. The captain of the 3-0 Zubco squad, his hard work is clearly paying off.

Player of the Week: Corey Stein
Player of the Week is Corey “Coast to Coast” Stein of Camp Manitou! The Hat-Trick hero continues to represent the bright future of this historic league. He even managed to grab an apple on the way to their 5-0 win.
Corey’s end-to-end play sets him apart with one of the top plus/minus scores in FHSHA history. He is a key player on the dominant force that is, Camp Manitou.

Player of the Week: Mark Merkur
Player of the Week is Mark “Marco Polo” Merkur of Camp Manitou! They call him Marco Polo because they can always find him. With two sensational goals on the way to a 5-2 victory, defenders can’t give him an inch.
Mark continues to show fans why he’s a top player in the FHSHA! Combined with MVP Turyk, Camp Manitou will be the team to beat.
