DAVID GETZ - PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Our second player of the week is newcomer David Getz, adding a goal and two assists on Sunday night! David helped his team to a 5-4 OT win, to seal Perella’s first win of the season.
Perella’s investment in the overseas market during COVID has paid off! They’ve secured a full line of new recruits, inspiring Captain Sternberg, who scored the big OT winner.
Congratulations David for putting a target on your back! Your prize is ready and waiting.
DANIEL GOLDENBERG - PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Our first player of the week is Daniel Goldenberg of Dynamic Tire, who had his wheels spinning all night long!
Daniel hatched three points on Sunday, including the game winning goal, lifting his team past Colliers in the final frame.
Rumour has it Scotty Turyk turned down the Maple Leafs training camp this summer, to return to Larry Grossman Arena and lead his team to victory. His continued commitment to excellence has inspired a generation of FHSHA card collectors. With a puck moving defenceman in Mr. Goldenberg, Dynamic will be the team to beat this season. GET READY FOLKS, THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST SEASON YET.

THE 2021 SEASON HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN
Welcome back to all returning players and our new rookie class!
While we are excited to be back on the ice, we must continue to follow all COVID guidelines and protocols expected of us. Stay socially distant, wear a mask in the arena, bring your own water bottles, and most importantly STAY HOME if you or your family members are unwell.
Let us all protect ourselves and others by doing our part to stop the spread!
With that said, we are excited to bring back our PLAYER OF THE WEEK award. Each week, one player will be crowned, and celebrated across our platforms for their outstanding performance. YOU COULD BE NEXT.

MATT HIMEL - PLAYER OF THE WEEK
The player of the week is Matt Himel with the game winning goal and an assist to lift Colliers over Perella in a 5-4 barn burner.
Himel let it all out Sunday night, knowing that the each game could be our last with the impending pandemic ready to close down hockey for EVER.
Colliers continues to win hard fought games, lead by a young aggressive core of disease fighters hoping to survive March and capture gold in Aprils playoffs.

DAN STERNBERG - PLAYER OF THE WEEK
February’s final player of the week is Captain Dan…. Sternberg , for leading his team out of the jungle and defeating Zubco 4-2.
Captain Dan’s two between the legs assists were the difference maker on Sunday night, leaping out of last place.
DON’T GET CAUGHT SLEEPING. Rumours from our league insider show internal records from both locker rooms claiming they’ve been resting their stars, to capitalize on the overplayed aging “stars” on the top teams.
